Strange experience

About half way through the Stan James freeroll tonight, I found myself getting desperate for chips when I was dealt TT. I crashed all-in and picked up 1 caller... think he had KA. However, he hit 2 pair (on the flop? :unsure ) and I hit a straight on the river. There was then a pause while the 'hand was recorded'... Anyone came across that before or can anyone tell me what it's all about?
