To secure your place in the quest to find Cambridge's first Online Poker Champion and win the lion's share of the $5,000, all you need to do is register for one of the remaining heats where each winner will earn not only their seat at November's fabulous $5,000 Grand Final table but also a place in Cambridge poker history! Registration has now opened for this next heat on Sunday 27th August which will begin at 6.30pm , and will be open right up until moments before the heat begins, but register now to make sure you have a place at the tables! Entry for each event is $5 with $0.50 buy-in, and you may enter as many heats as you like (provided you don't win a seat - so that excludes our previous winners!). FORMAT OF CHAMPIONSHIP • The Championship will be played out over the course of 10 heats plus 1 Grand Final • All heats and the Grand Final will be Texas Hold ‘Em No Limit Tournaments • The winners of each heat will win a place in the $5,000 Prize Fund Grand Final • As far as possible, each heat will fall on the last Sunday of the month. The dates of the heats are as follows: • Sunday 27 th August 2006 • Sunday 24 th September 2006 • Sunday 29 th October 2006 The Grand Final will be played out on Sunday 26 th November. • Each heat will be scheduled to begin at 6pm unless otherwise stated • If you are unsuccessful at winning a place in the Grand Final, you may enter the following tournament. Winners of a place at the Grand Final will not be allowed to enter a subsequent heat. • These dates are subject to change. PRIZE STRUCTURE • The Prize Structure for the heats will be confirmed on the day. Please check tournaments details at the point of registration. Just read this in the report for Heat 4 The rest of the the remaining six heats will continue to be played out over a course of the year through to the online Grand Final in November 2006. I'd played pretty tight all night upto that point then had one moment of madness.
