Hi Been speaking to a mate this evening regarding playing in Nottingham at the Gala, has anyone here any experience of playing there, and if so any opinions you would like to share. I'm trying to work out if its worth the journey down there to play. Thanks Mike

Re: Nottingham Gala Casino played in the £30 freezeout today at Nottingham, and its probably the worst live game Ive ever been involved in. Dont get me wrong, the card room is nice decent sized and a decent tourney, its self dealt, but we all threw £3 into another player who dealt better than the students you normaly get in these places - I just didnt get any cards, I was in for 1.5 hours and the best cards I got were a pair of 6s, which I went out when shortstacked. I won 1 hand in all that time when I made a move with A8s , finished 31/53. got to arrange another visit in the hope of a better experience
