melvinh Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 Here's the info I have gleaned for today: 7.00 Carlisle No 1 Smokin Beau - Best Bet He runs off the same mark as when he ran so well in two very hot races at Goodwood and has a massive chance in this far weaker contest. 7.15 Nottingham No 7 Star Strider This horse never had anything like a clear run on his handicap debut in a very warm handicap.
