Re: Pontefract 09/08 2.50 Pontefract: SUPERIOR STAR Good efforts tried visored on last two starts, seemingly much improved when running right away with modest 1m1f handicap at Musselburgh last week, and leading contender under 6lb penalty if in same mood as due to go up 12lb in weights from Saturday.The visor has been the making of him and will take some beating. 3.50 Pontefract: ROYAL JET Yet to win an handicap but fancied to put that right here following a near career-best 2nd at Ascot. Did well to finish so close behind Young Mick having been well back in the field 2F from the line. likes this track also a plus. 4.50 Pontfract: ROCLETTE held in very high regard by the Hill's stable and still looked in need of the run at Newbury LTO.
