Re: Dumb Placepot Question It works the same in the fact that all horses have to place. But if yours is a NR then it goes on the fav. Placepots can pay out more than your selections E/W as the pay out is governed by the 'Pot'. So you may have £30,000 in the pot and depending on how many tickets have won the pot depends on the pay out. http://www.mybetting.co.uk/tote-placepot.htm there you can see how much money is in the pot and after each race how many tickets are left.
