Re: NRL Round 22

Tip Detail
Sport Rugby
Event Nrl Round 22
Selection Parramatta (-3.5)
Strength 8/10
Date 04/08/2006
Bookmaker/Price Centrebet @ 2.00 (Back)
Reasoning Last 5 games: Parramatta 5/5 St-George 2/5 (Lost to Storm, Raiders and Bulldogs) Last 5 Head 2 Head: Dragons 4 (2 Home, 2 Away) – Eels 1 (Home) Last 5 Home Games: Parramatta 4/5 (Lost to Storm-League leaders) Last 5 Away Games: St George 3/5 (Lost to Raiders and Sharks) These two teams are a bit up and down this season, ladder poition is quite large but they are only 4 points apart. The Eels are in great form after their bye, with 5 in a row. St-George are in OK form, narrowly going down to the Storm last week in a game they could have pinched with three minutes left on the clock. Both teams match up well, I see the difference this week being the injury to Mark Gasnier who has scored 15 times for St-George so far this season and has provided a lot of run in the middle of the park. Last meeting saw St-George win 8-1 at home in the rain, there are showers predicted for Friday night but nothing like there last meeting, the match prior to that in 2005 saw the Dragons win 25-22 at home. Form and the loss of Gasnier suggest that Parramatta will win and should cover the 4 points due to the lack of options St-George now have going forward.
