I have had an email from 770 asking me to send them a copy of my identity card (As we do not have these over here yet, I emailed them a copy of my passport's photo page) They also want a copy of the reverse of my debit card... Should only need these (I think) in order to withdraw money or possibly to deposit ... or maybe they have caught on and are trying to make it more difficult to get the free cash. Its getting quite common to do this - supposed to stop money laundering and people using stolen cards I suppose. If you do send in your details then one tip that has been put up is to photo edit back of your credit card so thet the magic 3 check numbers and signature are not readable.
