This is an old system which would have been profitable during the world cup due to the lack of goals scored ie the teams playing conservatively with only one striker. I will be backing the favourite in each game when the favourite odds are between 1.25 and 2.00 the shorter odds you have to be wary of, Chelsea for instance seem to sit back after 1 or 2 goal lead were as other teams like to notch up cricket scores I will start with a bank of 200 points and bet 10 points per game using betfair due to convenience My first selection is Germany v Portugal 1-0 odds 7.0 4 points 2-0 odds 9.2 3 points 2-1 odds 9.2 3 points These prices give a combined odds of 2.78 instead of 1.9 on Germany winning I have used this system with doubles and trebles as well ie 9 correct score doubles and 27 correct score trebles .Its nice to get 1 correct score treble in at 8*8*8 =512 for a stake of 27 points
