An idea brought on by FF's thread about apprentice jockeys. The rules arent steadfast as part of its down to opinion. Its also untested so dont dive i if it starts off well. The basic theory is backing horses that have a jockey with a claimer following a top jockey riding it in one of its last two outings(preferably the last) without winning(may change to without placing). The theory is that the horse will drop weight/ avoid a penalty due to previous ride with a top jockey on board and then recieve extra weight boost from the claimer. I may also look into the opposite in another thread with top jockeys taking rides on horses usually rode by apprentices with the theory of them being primed for that race and wanting the best chance of winning. 10pt win , level stakes.
