Ginger McCain hands the reins over!

Recommended Posts

It seems like an age when Ginger spoke out and decided to retire and today he has finally done it!!! His Son now takes over today and has 2 horses running at Southwell, now call me an optimist but I get the feeling that Ginger Jnr will want to start off on a high and Ginger Snr I am pretty certain will want this too... Looking at the 2 horses form they appear to be pretty solid each-way material: First Fought 3.30 Southwell In-and-out record over hurdles, including when breaking a blood vessel on one occasion; each-way shout if showing his best and drying weather is in his favour too. The run prior to it's last race was in this same class and on good ground and it ran a cracker to only just be beaten 3/4 length by Parsleys Return with the rest well beaten over this same distance of 17F. This could be the horse to profit if the odds on Favourite runs a stinker! @11.00 paddypower looks like a good each-way *** Balmoral Queen 4.30 Southwell Has been in good form in selling company recently, on latest start finishing a well-beaten second to a subsequent non-selling winner at Uttoxeter; versatile as regards ground and not out of it. Most of the field are not in the best of form and Balmoral Queen has shown at least on it's last 2 runs it's in good order! @7.00 williamhill looks like another good each-way I'll be having a couple of each-way singles and an each-way double on the above, as I just get the feeling that Jnr McCain will want to start off on a great note! *** ***** = Make an orderly queue at the Bookies payout **** = Great Chance *** = Good Chance ** = Fair Chance * = Outside Chance
