Dunno if this should be in here or general chat, but I am reading a book called "Dirty Poker" by Richard Marcus. Heard him on Talk Sport a while ago and purchased the book, self confessed biggest casino cheater on the world.. Anyway, reading into it and some things are shocking. The most bizarre was this optometrist who made this dye soulution that could mark cards and only be visible by his own home-made contact lenses and if that was not enough, the solution would disappear in 20 mins so that no one could ever know and allowing the person who had the solution to use again and again and again.. A small perufme sized bottle cost 5 grand but matey who wrote the book said him and his gang cleaned up 4 tables within hours.. Another thing is online cheating. There is a so-called poker bot called, can't remember now (think its called Poker Devil), anyway it plays by itself and he reckons it only gives a 4% advantage, but if you used it for long periods you would reap the rewards.. Anyone heard of this??? Another is online scamming, i read in recent Poker Player magazine that this is not possible. But, he reckons there was at least 6-8 people with multiple phone lines and computers (ie - different IP addresses) connected to a few tables so they could see other cards and split winninngs between them. Have yet to finish the book but if you play for BIG money it makes you think twice..

Re: Dirty Poker I've read this book as well. Half way through reading it, it occurred to me ... this guy is a self-confessed cheat who has made money dishonestly for most of his life. Now he's making money by selling sensationalist books about how people are cheated at poker, etc. Why should I believe a word he says?
