Selection: Businessmoney Jake, 5.15 Cheltenham Bet: 2pts ew Reasoning: Doesn't always look the most genuine horse and tends to hang now and again but has won on good ground, out of its last 4 races has won twice for this jockey, a very good claimer (Liam Heard) and has won over 2m6 1/2 furlongs so should easily get 3 mile. Heard taking off the 5lb could be vital to its success and has a tissue price of around 9-1. A good value ew bet. Selection: Lisfannon, 5.05 Beverley Bet: 3pts win Reasoning: While watching the replay of the horses last race on the big screen at Ponty an old shrewd punter pointed out that Hills had given it a very tender ride. It was hands and heels all the way until about 2 furlong out and then he only hit it with the whip once, maybe twice and it responded well, picking up to finish 4th and was doing all its best work at the end. After whipping it he went back to hands and heels. At times he had the whip out but didn't strike the horse but he couldn't then be accused of not trying. Was well fancied last time out and probably benefits from that run. A great chance today.
