robby
Since I tend to get too busy to post full reasonings for all of my MLB picks on the daily MLB threads, I figured that it would make more sense to start a free style system to post the picks in so I don't waste space with no reasoned picks. I tend to pick against the run line with a few overs here and there, it's free style and besides individual game research, I don't have a system per se. We'll see how it goes :loon
robby
Re: MLB 2006 Run Lines Start - 100pts Kansas City v New York - over 10.5 : 5pts @ 1.90 - Centrebet - I don't trust Chacon enough to take the small odds of -1.5 but there is a solid chance of overs. San Diego -1.5 v Florida : 5pts @ 2.25 - Centrebet - I believe in Young, even in Denver. Cincy + 1.5 v Cubs : 5pts @ 1.65 - Centrebet - Maddux may not be the best pitcher to go against, but they both will have to deal with the wind. Cincy is clearly hitting better than Chicago, so hopefully the ball will carry again. CWS v DET - under 8.5 : 5pts @ 1.90 - Centrebet - The wind, for the other reason. Its blowing in, and I don't see too much carry, and CWS has a high LOB count so far this year. End - 80pts W/L - P/L - Total Staked (Avg.) - 20pts (5pts) Yeild - Strike -

robby
Re: MLB 2006 Run Lines Start - 86.70pts HOU (Pettitte) @ CIN (Harang) : 6pts @ 2.00 - Centrebet - Reds just may be too hot for Pettitte too WAS (Hernandez) @ STL (Carpenter) -1.5 : 6pts @ 1.85 - Centrebet - Carpenter isn't Marquis MIL (Davis) @ CHC (Rusch) - 1.5 : 6pts @ 2.77 - Centrebet - Value bet, 2.77 is worth a two run win. ARI (Cruz) @ SF (Hennessey) - 1.5 : 6pts @ 2.45 - Centrebet - Hennessey over a relief pitcher anyday. SEA (Hernandez) @ BAL (Chen) : 3pts @ 1.98 - Centrebet - BAL tend to back up Chen well, even though they are both winless, more of a bet against bullpens. End - 59.70pts
