slick mick
The tournament will start at 8pm on Saturday 20th May. This will be a deep stack tourney so should reward skillful play. The buy in is £10 with a starting stack of 5000 with blinds starting at 25-50 and rising every 20 minutes. There will be a sit and go permanently available once 10 players have been eliminated. After the first 90 minutes there will be a complimentary buffet. The bar is open till 4am and free breakfasts are served from midnight. If people feel the buy in is too high let me know but I think a large prize pool makes the effort of travelling worth it. EDIT the buy in may change as some think it too high opinions please NOW CHANGED Thanks for the input peeps There is a hotel (Premier Travel Inn) directly across the road that is the cheapest in Newcastle with all rooms £63 call 0870 238 3318 to book. If you are unsure you can book by phone and cancel up to the day before. I recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance as all hotels are fully booked every weekend because Newcastle is party central. http://www.premiertravelinn.com/pti/hotelInformation.do?hotelId=23905&rw.cm=,PPC Julian from GoalPoker will be providing some extra bonus prizes to appease all the angry Punters Lounge members and may be taking part in the tournament. I would really appreciate as many definite confirmations as possible so I can finalise arrangements.
Pokerose
Re: Newcastle poker night 20th May I would say yes, Mick. But I think £30 buy in is too much, as its going to cost me a lot to get there and stay. Its clearly up to you but those are my thoughts Edit: Well thats great. Look forward to seeing you there.:D
Sir Puntalot
Re: Newcastle poker night 20th May Agree the buy in is too high, makes it technically more serious as I've just said to Mick on msn.

DAC
Re: Newcastle poker night 20th May Hello! Just looking into the feasibility of travelling up from darkest Wales for the game. I was in Newcastle last year for a rugby game and had a complete and utter blast of a time, it's a cliche but they are such a nice bunch of folks. Anyway, could I too bring a mate?
