mowgli77
Robert Winston to be leading flat jockey 2006. Last year I took Jamie Spencer at 6-1 and was very fortunate to collect as I believe Winston would have been champion if it hadn't been for his injury ruling him out of the title race. Dettori will once again be riding abroad many weekends for Godolphin and while he is there the home jockeys will be rattling in the winners. Dettori has proven that if he wants to be champion jockey he can be and does not need to prove it again. He's just won the Dubai World Cup and these European and International races will be more important than a Sunday afternoon at Pontefract. Spencer will go close again but as far as i'm aware he still does not have the backing of a big stable and is going freelance. Winston will be riding for Stoute again and will be in the thick of the action. If he keeps injury free and does not pick up any lengthy bans I can see him being champion.
