For "Poker Player" readers, there is a freeroll on 2nd April with 1st place getting a seat. :ok Also over $1000 in prize money for 2nd to 9th. Registration for this CLOSES on 31st March at 8pm. http://www.vcpoker.com/kopfreeroll/ Does require 1000 action points to enter - which they say takes about 20 raked hands? :unsure. Not sure about the raked hands, but must be more than that unless on high end NL tables. 1000 ap on VC is given for $10 worth of tourney buy in fees, so you'd need to play $100 of tourneys (STT or MTT) at the lower end of the $ scale, where the fees are 10% of buy in, to get it. Higher ones and rebuys are usually 5%. That way will cost you $110, unless you win some back of course. Should be low entry though. Agreed its another terrible way to offer places, however, at least it would mean that that person had sat down for a daily qualifier. I uninstalled the maxim skin, downloaded the VC software from the VC site. It already had my username and password ready. I went into the cashier and clicked the link for promotions, entered the promo code from PP and was told "congrats...blah....blah....blah, your in". That happened to me Mivi, got the ok then not showing on the list. I had 3500 points in the maxim skin but none when I installed the VC skin and it still gave me the ok :hope I'm in.
