dontbegreat Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 3:40 | Taun | Sakenos (1.00 pts stkd) 3:50 | Sthl | Shifty Night (1.00 pts stkd) 4:20 | Sthl | Dispol Isle (1.00 pts stkd) - Sakenos Just a race with few races for all but Sakenos is teamed with Hobbs and Johnson with no McCoy or Walsh anywhere in sight for this race. Sakenos finished 5th in a Class 2 at this same course in January 9th just 12 lengths behind. It was a great run but weakened towards the end. Today is much less competitive and should have the energy to finish this Class 4 in front. Cruise Director have put up 2 decent runs but both came on a left handed track. Mystery Lot is with a good stable but also have not run a right handed track. Hobbs to continue his decent form and Johnson to get a much needed win to get closer from a far lead by McCoy in the wins standings. Shifty Night Had one of its best run in a while last time out. Has a fair draw and might just put a shocker today. Going against a good field who’s had some nice runs. Obvious to challenge are Winning Pleasure, Shadow Jumper, Doctor Dennis, Ruman, and Winthorpe. Taking the one that’s unlikely to win – but the trainer has the best win % from all trainers today at 17.9% (12 wins in 67 runs) Maybe just maybe those numbers will hold up and the improve from the last run for Shifty Night (same draw and same length) Dispol Isle On a great to start on the all-weather circuit winning it’s debut in January 17th and a 3rd place finish (beaten by a head ) in February 7th. Same distance today from the win and still have the same jock from the previous races. Both races was for fillies only and this on is not. It should not matter though as this race is not does not have one to favor over the rest. No one has the same form and the ones that come close came at Classes less than where Dispol has been.
