messina
A month ago thing looked very different for Cibona. They were Euroleague’s most pleasant surprise, they were winning home, they had very good chances of proceeding to top 16. Now, only miracle can save them. Before beating Hemofarm (85-63) this weekend in Adriatic league, Cibona suffered 7 straight defeats, of which 4 in the Euroleague, and all by at least 20 points difference. Today they need to beat Efes and hope Milano will lose vs. Olympiakos to reach top 16, but that really seems like a hard task regarding their form. Additional problem for Cibona is that Turks are chasing the 1st place in the group and winning today is indispensable to achieve that goal. New addition to Croatian team, American guard Jamison Brewer won’t play today as Anzulovic isn’t satisfied with his form, Skelin has back problems and he's a doubt for tonight, while Benett Davison is sick but he'll probably play. Cibona surprised Efes in Istanbul 2 months ago (77-71), and Efes will be also up for a revenge. Not many teams can beat Turkish champion twice, and Cibona definitely isn’t one of them. Form, quality, bigger motivation, everything is on the side of the Turks.Efes to win(-4 handicap)
