Re: **Poker Thursday 29th December** Pocket Lady is busy arguing with VC at the moment (gawd help 'em!:spank :lol), butwhen she was in Blue sq there is a freeroll for Grosvenor Casino members. Pocket Lady will let you know what you're playing for when she's finished kicking off on VC! Goldie Looking Chain keeps popping into my head for some reason......:unsure

Re: **Poker Thursday 29th December** i think i deserved to go out . What was i doing in the last 2 hands ? Pocketed JJ and just called instead of raising . This guy holding a 610 unsuited checks . Flop comes 10d5d7d I went all-in . He calls .turn was 8H and u guessed it river a 10c . Next hand , i had OJ unsuited . I raised . This person went all-in . I called . he pocketed 6s . Held all the way and i was knocked out . Really deserved to go out . What was i thinking ?

Re: **Poker Thursday 29th December** As I type that, I get AA in Betonbet. Small raise, reraised, I reraise, and he goes all-in. I call, he has Ah and Kc. Betonbet helpfully informs me I have a 93% chance of winning the hand. 3 clubs on the flop, and one more on the river, and I'm GONE. Not sure whether to :rollin :rollin :rollin or :wall :wall :wall or :cry :cry :cry

Re: **Poker Thursday 29th December** ok all ..I made my first final table and went out in 9th i had apair of 10's called the 20;000 he raised me all in .. i called he had 9's board 678 a 9 will do me for the straight and yup a 9 but then the river is you guessed it 8 to pair the board out in 9th really pleased yet again to get there... $4.25 in money i will post up my positon in bragging thread for all to see .. good luck all off to the check and raise now ..kev

Just had a funny experience playing on paddy power, entered a $3000 speed tournee, the blinds go up every 3 minutes (and i thought yesterdays was fast) well was doing ok until nearing the last 27, I had 45,010 chips and the blinds were 30,000/15,000. Both hands I got on the blinds were fairly poor so folded both hands with 32 players left. by the time the big blind got back round to me and my massive 10 chips there was only 14 people left as blinds were up to then 60,000/30,000 so I won a nice $69 dollars.
