Remember, William hill takes less than 3 mins to fill - if you want to play, make sure you are there and waiting at midday!!!! No need for me to tell you the big event of the day - the Punters Lounge Betfair £2000 Freeroll. Using our traditional measure of value, and assuming 100 entrants, this is worth £2000 / 100 = £20 per person (pounds not dollars!!!). I've never seen a freeroll with anywhere near this value before. Re: **Poker Saturday 17th December** I was in the betfair 9:00 am as well (id wpr1) - did just a little better than legend and jaded but went out 12th or so when I went all in with AK v AQ and Q came up on flop. Can recommend this 9:00 am 3 euro Betfair game as a value game, but its very tight - same people most days and very very few muppets. The formula (added 50 euros) is repeated at 12:00,15:00 and 18:00 though it becomes 5 euro game rather than 3 euro in these. I used to make a fair amount playing these when it was looser but nowadays its much harder - so be warned.

Re: **Poker Saturday 17th December** Quick sad (but true) story of a poor online poker player... I left the house at 10.10 to go get my paper. Called into the bookies for a football bet, then went to the local shop for a natter, a place where all the local low-life gather for a chat on a morning. After half an hour talking about Gary Glitter, sheepshagging, X Factor, how blackjacks used to be 4 for an old penny (and various other less important things)... ''What time is it?'' I asked. ''Twenty to twelve...have you got another poker game to play'', they asked with a certain sarcastic tone. ''Yes, Hills freeroll. Need to be back before 12 so I'm off.'' Back home for ten to twelve, log computer onto hills, get the registration page up so I don't miss it at midday. Sat next to the computer, started reading Derek McGovern's excellent article in the mirror pullout...very funny that...until I realise it is 12.05 and already 1000 entered for the freeroll. :@ Blast!:@ :$ The bad thing is...I did EXACTLY the same thing two weeks ago!:$ Never mind, giving it a break this afternoon, so I'll be raring to go come half past eight tonight.:hope
