I didn't get the travel expenses, because it wasn't part of the prize in the freeroll (they say - and to be fair it wasn't listed) The prize was a $10,000 seat, but it didn't mention anything else - it was only when they gave me a link to the standard page for qualifiers through satelites, that it started to talk about $2,500 expenses .... Bit of news from today (hope this isn't spoilers for anyone watching it - if it is, then say!!!!) - Julian Gardner had already qualified - in todays second heat (heat 17) his wife (Kerry) qualified - they will now be playing in the same semi-final!!!!! So hows my live experience going? Well I played about 5 live games today (£10 freezeouts with about 10 players - including pro's) - and I've finished £40 up overall - including yesterdays games - not too bad for a debut....... My next live game will be the one in front of the cameras - have to be there about 9 am for my make up :$ and the tourney should get under way by about 10:30 ....... If I ever play live poker, raise preflop with a good hand, get called by someone with a 52 who hits a straight, I am walking over to that person to knock out his teeth.
