White Sox to Win the WS

Today I took the plunge... 5 units (a unit = $100 for me) @ $2.75 (www.centrebet.com). I just feel that there is something special about this team that will see them take it out this year. Someone seems to step up big each game. Today it was Garland who pitched a phenomenal game, giving up only 2 runs in 9 innings. The Sox have been winning games relying mostly on their team defence and late order hitters such as Crede, Uribe and company. Now it seems that the top of the order e.g., Konerko and Dye have started to find form. This can only spell trouble for opposing teams. The Sox have quietly ripped through the competition. Squashing a white hot Cleveland team that was fighting for the playoffs, before sweeping away the fancied Bosox. I don't think the small-ball game of the Angels will be enough to defeat the Sox... Anyhow, whether I'm right or wrong, I would be kicking myself if I didn't place this bet and the Sox won. A few years back I had the same feeling about the Marlins and didn't put anything on it.
