The TopPair Magazine Forum Challenge Freeroll will be a No Limit Hold 'Em Freezeout Tournament held on Saturday, October 29th 2005, at 3:00pm EST. The tournament will be hosted on GamesGrid. Tournament Structure The Forum Challenge Freeroll will be a No Limit Hold 'Em Freezeout. Starting chip count will be 1000 chips with blind levels increasing every 10 minutes. Any players who have not played at least one hand by the end of level one will be removed from the tournament. Prize Pool: $5400 total, sponsored by TopPair Magazine The Prize Pool for individual participants will be $4000 paid out in the following manner: 1st place $1060 + honors in TopPair Magazine 2nd place $700 + honors in TopPair Magazine 3rd place $460 + honors in TopPair Magazine 4th place $320 + honors in TopPair Magazine 5th place $240 + honors in TopPair Magazine 6th place $180 7th place $140 8th place $100 9th place $80 10th to 18th $48 each 19th to 27th $32 each The Prize Pool for top finishing forums is as follows: 1st place $300 + $300 Private Freeroll + honors in TopPair Magazine 2nd place $200 + $200 Private Freeroll + honors in TopPair Magazine 3rd place $100 + $100 Private Freeroll + honors in TopPair Magazine 4th place $100 Private Freeroll + honors in TopPair Magazine 5th place $100 Private Freeroll + honors in TopPair Magazine Scoring The winning Poker Forum will be determined by adding the total number of points earned by the cumulative performances of each forum's participants. Points will be earned in reverse finish method plus bonus points as follows: 1st place 100 bonus points 2nd place 85 bonus points 3rd place 70 bonus points 4th place 60 bonus points 5th place 50 bonus points 6th place 40 bonus points 7th place 30 bonus points 8th place 20 bonus points 9th place 10 bonus points 10th to 18th 5 bonus points 19th to 27th 3 bonus points Therefore, if there were 1000 entrants, 1st place would earn 1100 points (1000 + 100 bonus points). 2nd place would earn 1084 points (999 plus 85 bonus points), etc. After points are tabulated, each fourm's points will be tallied by adding the points earned by all of its participants.
