Sound the alarm! We've got a proper battle on for the Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League Christmas number one! @patriciamarc's Lucas FC are still leading the way but it was a disappointing 47-point haul this week. Pressing right up the rear (ooh er!) is Lakshuman Sharma's Fantasy Team who managed to accumulate 75 points to move into 2nd place this week. Lucas FC are now just 39 points ahead at the top. That is a 19-point hit to their lead last week. You can feel the tension! 

Manager of the Week for this round was looking like Lakshuman Sharma but they were denied by a single point thanks to the 76 points earned by Mark Milton's Buzz Cats. A proper team effort saw seven players in the side hit at least 7 points to help the team move up to 76th position in the table. 

Finally, stop press! We have the rare event this season of bottom-placed Andy Elliot's Andellio not getting the lowest score of the week. In fact, they were not even close to suffering that. The shame of the lowest score this week went to the 103rd-placed Danny Harris and his Berlin AFC team who could only muster 16 points. The -2 points from Rayan Ait-Nouri was probably a decent summary of how the week went for Harris and his squad. Only Erling Haaland and Cole Palmer were able to hit over 2 points. Disappointing!
