EFL Cup quarter finals this week. At a glance the price I’d most look twice at is Brentford’s away to Newcastle.

There are UEFA Conference League games on Thursday, Coppa Italia action and a few matched in Spain, France and Portugal as well as some lower level domestic fixtures.

Oh, and Real Madrid take on Pachuca in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup!

Not too manic but not too quiet either. Let us know if anything catches your eye.

My first thoughts are that Liverpool will be desperate for points against bottom club Southampton and should get them.

 

On paper most will expect an Arsenal win v Palace but it'll be a no-bet for me as Palace is my biggest bogey team in the whole world. On top of that they are undefeated in 5.
