Another Chelsea System

Jaded

Recommended Posts

Just looking through Chelsea's results this season... 6 games, 2 of them they've been leading at half time and gone on to win. The other 4, they've been level at half time and gone on to win. (Premiership games only.) Am going to try paper trading a system where I back the draw/Chelsea HT/FT in all of their games from now on in the Prem - any thoughts? They seem to be starting slowly and going on to win fairly easily in most games, so I think there's a pretty decent chance it'll show a profit.

Re: Another Chelsea System Jaded I think thats a brilliant idea. I was going to try the exact same strategy. It pays roughly 4.00 for draw/Chelsea so you'd only need to strike it once every 4 matches to break even. I read comments by the Chelsea assistant coach after the Charlton match and he alludes to the fact they played deeper in the second half and the goals came so its sound like a strategy on Chelseas part to firstly control the match and nullify the opposition and then in the second half press for the goal/s that'll bring them victory. There'll be a few games where this option wouldn't be so wise eg Chelsea v a team which is leaking goals too freely as Chelsea is likely to rack up one of their 4-0 wins but in most tight matches you should back the option and it should make a healthy profit over the course of the season. I'm going to try this strategy with one of my accounts. Good luck! :)
