Oh Bollocks , looks like i'll have to pull my finger out and get on a p.c that doesn't have A.O.L as an ISP and join Betfair through that. Bloody ridiculous situation :@
I'm on AOL and have never had a problem joining Sites, or using any poker software............ whats the problem?

I've tried several times to register with Betfair through AOL and every time it tells me that because i'm resident in USA i can't join , even though i give my address and postcode. How did you manage??

Both of us must have been disconnected 5-6 times EACH. WFTE was disconnected with half his stack in the pot :@ Really poor service being offered there and first impressions LAST This will have to be sorted out as from what I'm hearing it's not uncommon WFTE must be P!ssed

Re: PL Poker League Season 2 Table + All Time Top PL Money Winners I don't know if this will help frisky but I too used to have problems with Betfair. Recently I have upgraded to Windows XP so that I could install AOL broadband on a wireless connection in my house. Now sometimes when other people get disconnected (and my computer is making lots of noises in the background similar to when it starts up) I can still keep playing. When I then log off Betfair at the end of the game my computer has a message saying I have been disconnected and have to re-log on to go to other sites. This does not affect me too much as I spend most of my time playing rounders on bet 365 now but I was curious if anybody else experienced anything similar.

Re: PL Poker League Season 2 Table + All Time Top PL Money Winners Hi Frisky, To be fair I think it might be the cryptologic server that had the problems rather than betfair.... playing in a MTT tourney about that time from Littlewoods (who also share the cryptologic server) and several times it hung on me mid game and folded me - same was happening to all the others from the various sites (think will hill use cryptologic as well). In the past a "nicely" worded note to Betfair claiming (at least) entry fee back has often worked. At least on betfair you get a decent record of what games you've been in and what the result was.... one of my peeves on littlewoods is that its hard to relate movements up and down in your account to individual games.....

Hi Jez, The points totals cant be correct. Weve only played 1 game thus far and youve got 24, when the points for winning is 20! How have a ton of people got the 4 points for finishing 4th as well? Whats going on? :eek
1st = 20pts final table = 3pts entering = 1pt total = 24pts ;)

To be blatantly honest, I ripped off teh scoring system totally from my local casinos league - they use that way of creating a league over an 8 month season. Jez
