Jacques Cronje, 7. Danie Rossouw, 6. Schalk Burger, 5. Victor Matfield, 4. Bakkies Botha, 3. Lawrence Sephaka, 2. John Smit (capt), 1. Os du Randt. Res: 16. Hanyani Shimange, 17. CJ van der Linde, 18. Albert van den Berg, 19. Joe van Niekerk, 20. Fourie du Preez, 21. Jaque Fourie, 22. Brent Russell. The big talking point is the size of their pack. 36kgs heavier than the OZ pack that faced France on the weekend. With Bakkies Botha, and Os du Randt comg back rom injury to bolster the pack. Australila are yet to name their side but Mortlock is 50 - 50 with a hamstring injury incurred before half time against France, while both Rathbone and Vickerman are definately out. Turinui is Mortlocks likely replacement if hes unavailable. Phil Waugh will likely start at 7 which will probably Smith moving to 6 and Elsom to the Bench. Makes for a very strong loose trio. Talk of Rogers starting too, which I suspect is primarily over concern for Giteaus gola kicking which has been very poor for international standards against Samo and France. Would be a shame for Latham though to be dropped but there looks to be no other option. Maybe Sailor is benched, Im not sure. Anyway shapes up to be a very good game. Oz will likely start favourite, but this game realistically is a 50 50, especially if Mortlocks out. SA look strong,an r Tri Nations Champs so....
