1.40 Stratford:

Excellent Team 5/4 Bet365 NAP
Dan Skelton has his horses in good form heading into Aintree and can pick up this race in the meantime with the ultra consistent Excellent Team. Been given six months off to miss the winter ground and knowing this yard he will be ready to do himself justice.

Doncaster 2:25 : Holiday Magic @ 25/1 betfair sports e/w thanks

Holiday Magic...from Michael Easterby yard the 6yo is a winner of seven races from 7f to 1m on the all-weather and was beaten by Nimr just 21 days ago at Wolverhampton AW 1m 1f when 3rd beaten by 2 lengths, Nimr is 2nd favourite for this race and is up 5lbs for that win but Holiday Magic is down 2lbs which sees him 7lbs better off ,

Although Holiday Magic has only had the 9 races on flat turf he was once a Godolphin horse trained at Appleby yard before moving to Easterby yard last July where the yard tried to get him to run well on turf but his runs where poor but Easterby has got him running well on AW as the seven AW races he found 3 wins, two 2nds , a 3rd and a 4th place in his last 7 races .

So Easterby yard may have found the key to him running well and may carry that on today and get his first turf frame finish at big odds with young Nathan Evans still getting the 3lbs allowance that he's had in the last four runs on horse

LORD BYRAN @ 7/2 Skybet

Ran into one last time out on handicap debut that horse has franked the form by going close in a class 3 off 121.  Should have learnt from that and drying ground may suit better as was placed in a couple of bumpers on Good ground.  Trainers only runner today.
