I am very pleased to announce that we won the APAT Online Team Challenge and have now got a guaranteed entry to the live team event in March.  It looks like all four of use from the online team will take their deserved places so that leaves four spots that we need to fill.  Can you please let us know if you are interested and we can go from there.  Details are as follows:

The UK Team Championship live event will be played at the Grosvenor Casino, Blackpool over 2 days Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th March 2017.

UK TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Teams with 8 players each will compete for both a team and an individual prize pool in the UK Team Championship, which will be run as an MTT, and this Season we have taken the opportunity to align the buyin to that of APAT National Championship Main Events, being £75+£7 per player.  This will also allow players to take advantage of the APAT Online Steps and use an APAT Step 4 token for the UK Team Championship.

Entry is therefore £82 per player and this will be required to be paid via an Online Holding by INDIVIDUALS - coordinated between myself and all Team Captains.

The total prizepool of £75 per player will be paid out on a 50/50 basis to the top 3 teams and the top 18 (tbc) individual players from the MTT.

The top 120 (tbc) players in the MTT will score points for their team with 1st = 120 pts down to 120th = 1 pt.

Teams are to wear their own matching colour team shirts for both days of the event - if desired, EMBROIDERED POLO SHIRTS OR T-SHIRTS are available from APAT at a subsidised cost of £15 per shirt (reduced from £18) and in addition to the APAT logo and UK Team Championship event wording embroidered onto the shirt breast, can be branded with the Team Name plus player name OR nickname (other wording or team logo embroidery is also possible but will cost more depending on requirements) - to order send a PM to myself via HERE or by email direct to tombrady [at] hotmail.co.uk or via Facebook Messenger HERE.

This event has seen huge demand in previous years, and we are expecting similar interest this year.  The event has also on occasion previously suffered from 'team last minute dropouts', and therefore, as we did previously, we will again maintain a reserve list and require all individual team members to pay the entry fee of £82 via Grosvenor Poker in advance by 12:00 noon on Friday 3rd Feb 2017

Any team (all 8 members) failing to meet the buyin deadline will have their entry offered to teams on the reserve list.

Any team (all 8 members) that pays the full buyins and has a last minute need to drop out will have their entry offered to the next team on the reserve list and whichever team takes up this option will have their buyins used to reimburse the team (via APAT) that had to drop out.
