Englishman to take it in Sweden
Lee Westwood is the only player to finish in the first three in each of the four majors and never win one. His best chance is still probably in the US Masters and he was in the money again this year behind Danny Willett. Westwood would probably swap ten Nordea Masters titles for a major but if he wins the tournament this week the former world number one becomes just about a certainty to play in the Ryder Cup again.

Nicolas Colsaerts and Ross Fisher have both played in one Ryder Cup but both been on winning European teams against the United States. Both players have the profile to contend this week but may find it hard to beat Westwood who has represented Europe nine times in the Ryder Cup. The Nordea Masters returns to the Bro Hof Slott Golf Club in Sweden which staged the event from 2010 to 2014 so there is course form to assess. The course puts a premium on accuracy rather than distance
