A Fcking Jopke !

Just finished playing the £10k Guaranteed Multi on willhill and finished a decent 9th and pocketed £200 but I am not happy:wall . Evertything was going well, 347 runners, so willhill had to donate £3060 to the pool to make the guarantee. I didn't get many big hands but managed to get the better of a few coinflips and was sitting in 2nd place with 50 players left with a nice stack in front of me. My table got split and I got moved to Table 2 and the chip leader on my left, not good. Anyway, so having looked at trash for a few rounds we are down to 26 players and I've got 25,000 chips left which puts me in a solid 5th. With 1st place getting £2600, 2nd £1600 and 3rd £900 the payouts were looking very good. But then disaster strikes, it crashes :@ So after turning on my desktop PC whilst still trying to log on to willhill on my laptop, I get willhill poker back up and my table pops up, but I've only got 8,000 chips left with 16 ppl left in. With the blinds now at 2,000/4,000 and the ante, I have got nearly nothing left. Luckily there were still people disconnected so after stealing their blinds and the antes twice, we were down to 10 people and the final table. Unlucky for me, I hit the BB as i got moved and after finding 2-4o I was tempted to call all in with just 5,000 left but decided to fold. Next hand, i get Ad-7d in the sb and call all in vs. AQo, the flop looked good 4d-5d-6h but i missed all my outs and I was out in 9th with my £200 winnings. It was all kicking off on the chat, basically on the other tables everyone except for 3/4 players got disconnected, leaving them with all the chips. People complaining about having 30,000 chips and being blinded away, it was total madness. I was disappointed after being in a strong position and then just liming into the final table. It basically just spoilt the whole tournament and left most people felling pretty sh*t. I have been playing willhill (crypto) for the last few months but I am seriously considering whether I should just close my account and go back to Partypoker. I just don't see how a major network like this can allow these problems to happen. After reading the betfair forum, it seems as if this is a pretty common problem and I just can't be bothered with the worry of the game server messing up in a bigger buy in tourney or the heads up stage of a tourney. Anyone experienced this or similar on Crypto?

Re: A Fcking Jopke ! Hey Winty. That sounds bad if it happens in the middle of the tournament. I have only been playing on bet365 and I cant remember any major crashes happened. There have been delays (very seldom up to few minutes) of starting times, but nothing like you have described. Of course it happens to all of us but only because of losing connection or having to restart computer when it crashes. I never got into Hills poker, as some of good players mentioned, there was some kind of cheating going on, but some time ago. Its always fcukin annoying when you are kicked out for a moment especially in the later stages when blinds are big. I remember getting to the final table of 10k once. As I went out, I stayed and watch to the end. When there was two left one had around 700k in chips and other over 2mill. This with the bigger stack suddenly vanished (lost conn or puter crashed, or something). You can imagine the size of blinds. Of course this first guy cleaned him out (took him about 3 minutes) before this other one managed to come back. Fcuk, that must have hurt. Anyway, Im sure there are better sites to play poker than on Hill :unsure.

Re: A Fcking Jopke ! All righty winty... that must have sucked mate :( :( Obviously any large computer network is going to suffer blips at some point, there isnt a single one in the world that wont but when it affects your bottom line it really sucks ass. If you email will hill about it they will probably try and sort something out but its hard to see what they can do. I play on crypto all the time as well, the software is a bit crap (their online casino software is much better) as it takes up a lot of CPU usage and they do go down occasionly but I trust them 100%. There has NEVER been an incident of a player being cheated or not paid at a crypto casino/poker room and personally I think that speaks volumes, they offer some ofthe best bonuses around as well. Against them I would say the customer service sucks. Its good if you phone up but send them an email and geez you could be waiting a week for a reply. Cashouts are always super quick tho, whatever method you request. I aint some sort of rep for them btw :lol. But the bad things I have heard about other networks (primas account locking of 5 figure sums and IGLOBALMEDIA ((party))s shady past) have never occured with crypto so I would stick with them personally.
