Champions Tour 2016

Morning

The new season for the Senior tour starts on Thursday in Hawaii with the Mitsubishi Championship over 54 holes.

My first bet for this thread is on: Paul Goydos

Each Way @ 40-1 [Stan James] 1/4 first 4

Decent odds in a limited field of only 40 players. Though only 17th here last year he did go on to win his next tournament so is capable of getting his game A1 quickly after the winter break.

Evening

Tucson [Starts Friday]

Market: Without Langer,Perry & Montgomerie

Miguel Angel Martin

Each Way @ 250-1 [Skybet] 1/4 first 5 places

This is an "out the ballpark" selection

Spanish player who is a class act on the European senior tour and did well to qualify for this big tour. Think he has the game to do well out there, but this week is his debut and it depends how he has settled in. But if this was an European event he would be nowhere near these odds.

Miguel is reserve this week in Mississippi.

Not a lot of value in the outright market, but happy to play in the Top 10 Finish with Stan James on

Scott Dunlap @ 5-2.

A position he has achieved twice this year in his 4 tournaments. Add on that he placed 9th here last season then happy to play at these odds.

This week its the 3m Championship [Starting Friday]

Top 10 Market [Bet 365]

Scott Dunlap @ 10-3 [Bet 365]

2nd here last year, and caught my eye in his last couple of tournaments where in one of them he would have won but for a 9 on a par 4 in the final round and in his last tournament which was a major he would have finished in top 10 but for dropping 2 shots at the final hole.

:okI feel slightly better about missing that one now that he didn't actually win the tournament. I would definitely have followed on the top 10 bet but have a sneaky feeling I might have been tempted in by an outright bet as well. Do you know what his price was for the win by any chance?

Anyway, well done and I'm off to right a hundred lines of the "must try harder" variety. :$
