1.10 Lingfield

A fairly poor day of racing and this race is by no means an exception to that!

Secret Millionaire was a fair 3rd last time out just merely plugging on over CD, sure to strip fitter for that, well handicapped on very best form 16lb below last winning mark but not won for 24 runs clearly not safest bet.

More Spice has only had 4 runs and doesn’t appear to be any world beater, fair fifth on handicap debut at Southwell might appreciate a return to a faster surface and also visor on for the first time.

Kuanyao is risky but might get a soft lead in this field and somehow Anne Stokell has got her horses in blinding form currently. He is well handicapped again on his best form last win in handicap off 23lb higher marks also seems to save his best for this course. If getting out in front in same form as last time out may be hard to pass.

1pt win Kuanyao 4/1 bet365

Lingfield 3:10 : Solveig´s Song @ 9/1 paddypower e/w thanks

Solveig´s Song......from Steve Woodman yard the horse is also half owned by Sally Woodman with D Mortimer the other owner , the 4yo been placed twice in 13 starts but showed signs in last race here over this distance,

She ran off 46 only 13 days ago when she finished 3rd that day but when trying to make move was blocked on inside and only finished a length behind winner Chefchaouen with One Last Dream 2nd that day only a neck in front ,

In todays race 2nd and 3rd place horse do battle against each other again and both are still off the 46 mark and William Carson keeps the ride on Solveig´s Song and still has Cheek piece on

3.10 - Ling - Clock On Tom - 6/1 - Lads

Pretty dire Class 7 race but one that is in better form than most is this selection who has won his last 2 races albeit over hurdles. Has Luke Morris up today which is obviously a plus. Very low mark to exploit back on the flat here.

Lud 1.30 - Bandon Roc - EW at 16/1 bog wm hill

Novice hurdle 2 miles

Another lop-sided market with a well odds on favourite, a second favourite a bit by default and the rest well in double figure prices

My selection could be 'best of the rest' having run in a decent looking maiden race first time out which featured runners from most of the big yards. He was beaten 36L fading late on but the Post commented that he should come on for the run

You'd like to think that a place was there for the taking .........and who knows what might happen to the favourite in a field full of novice jumpers

3.00 Ludlow - Gino Trail @ 14/1 Betfred

Garde la Victoire could be vulnerable conceding 10lbs here as I don't rate his two wins over fences when you look at how the races panned out. David Bridgewater's love going over fences and this pointer is sure to improve now novice chasing after a nice debut for the yard over hurdles last season in a decent enough contest. The testing conditions should suit as well and he will stay the trip well.

1.40 Lingfield  PORT GAVERNE  goes handicapping now  and although needs to find more than we've seen, does come from a good yard and improvement wouldn'tbe any surprise at all.  Jockey takes off a further 7lb, so with no trip and surface concerns, the price does appear very tempting.

0.5pts EW  28/1 Stan James BOG
