Jimmy2shoes
Jonjo O'Neil won this race last year with the Champ in the saddle and his only runner here at Fontwell stands out for a bet, no AP this time but jockey Richie McLernon will know what his job is and he also makes the trip for just this one sole stand out ride. The 7yr old gelding is yet to score this year from 5 starts but went close last time out at Market Rasen, if he can put in a similar effort as his last run 23 days ago he surely must go close. Trainer Warren Greatrex has the jolly in the field with Noel Fehily up, they too wont be far away and its a race that could get tactical, 11/4 on the jolly looks skinny and i always feel Richie can be strong and handy in any finish, he also has a great race mind and shows a lot of thought, jockey & trainer would be a little disappointed if the horse returns to base without him earning his keep, he's also owned by JP so any movement in the market could also prove significant. Looks a close thing and is sure to get tactical, but the selection could just show up a little fitter than last time, if that's the case, he wins. 4:50 Fontwell - Church Field. Win Bet taking the price.
