Swindon -4 V Peterborough +4 (1) Vic Chandler 1.9 Swindon -4 @ 1.83: Skybet and Stan James. Swindon are unbeaten at home, but, they have had a bit of luck here and there, their away form is atrocious, so, winning at home is vital. Their biggest problem is having new boys Sebastian Alden AND Jonas Davidsson both in the top 5! although their home form is picking up, away from home they are a liability. So, Swindon really do need to beat Peterborough tonight. Peterborough: Billy Janniro was injured several weeks ago, and has been replaced by Lukas Dryml, this has made them stronger, and, Lukas especially, goes well at Swindon. Add to him the in-form Peter Karlsson, Ales Dryml, Joonas Kylmarkorpi and the veteran American Sam Ermolenko, who first rode at Swindon about 20 years ago! and it all adds up to a tough match, and it will be, but, I am hoping that Swindon will come through, and beat the handicap. Not a big stake on this one though! Belle Vue -15 V Arena Essex +15 (1) Skybet 1.83 Belle Vue are a powerful team, especially at home, and there is little doubt about them winning tonight. Arena Essex are a very weak away team, and, tonight, they are weaker than usual, Mark Loram is still injured, David Norris was due to guest ride for him, however, Norris is now injured, and replacements are not easy to find, Belle Vue have little choice but to use Premier league rider Carl Stonehewer, he was a GP rider a few years back, and he is still a good performer in the Premier league, but, as a replacement for Norris, not so good. Normally, I do not like going against such a big handicap, but tonight Belle Vue have every chance of winning by more that 15!

Re: Speedway on Sky Tonight results: Swindon 46 Peterborough 44 :( Swindon's lesser lights were absolutely appalling in the wet conditions, oddly Swindon were coming good in the last few races, but, an exclusion by a Swindon rider in the penultimate race, put a finish to that! Belle Vue 63 Arena Essex 30 :ok No problems for Belle Vue.
