It's been a fantastic day at Fairyhouse yesterday. Splendid sunshine and great racing. A huge crowd flooded through the gates - which could feel a bit uncomfortable at times as there is not so much space at Fairyhouse, unlike at Leopardstown or the Curragh for example, where you don't really feel the big crowds that badly. Anyway, was lucky enough to back the National winner and it was a great success for Katie Walsh, a jockey I do really admire. One of the very few female jockeys who I usually rather see as a positive if booked for a ride, than the other way around. Couple of shots from the day here blow now....
