4.20 Newbury - Willem 1pt win @ 6/1 Bet365 Bit of a risky selection here but quite clearly this horse didn't live up to expectations on debut for the Pipe yard. There has already been some money for him tonight so I am hoping they are expecting a much better run from him tomorrow. On his debut he was pitched straight into the deep end in a hot grade 2 event at Ascot where he was sent off a 6/1 shot and never figured. He may have just needed that run after 220 days away from the track so I am hopeful he will show much more tomorrow. The Pipes have taken this race twice from 3 runnings and their horses are going well at the moment. This looks competitive but they do well with French recruits and I wouldn't be surprised to see him go close.
