The horses 3rd at the course when fading late on over a longer trip suggests that this distance could be just about right and the trainer is trying the first time headgear to try and improve the horse again. The horse is 10lb lower now than that effort at the course and with the jockeys additional 5lb claim, the horse looks really well handicapped over this more suitable trip.
