william hill betting options

Hi all,, Happy xmas to everyone. I have a few questions regarding betting in general and i hope someone can help me. I have been playing roulette for a while and i have recently moved over to football betting, im a little confused with the whole betting options. I am betting through william hill. For example lets take premier league matches on friday, ten matches to be played, i have selected all my ten teams to win and i am given options to bet on individual bets and fold bets. There are one to ninefold bets. My confusion lies with what option to bet on, if i bet on the ninefold, would i have to bet on my individual selctions as well, or could i just bet on the ninefold? Can i bet on four (1p) seven (1p) and ninefold 1p) together? Either way its a win win as the amount i bet will not exceed the amount i win, whats the catch i must be missing something?
