BritPete
Swindon -6 V Poole +6 (1) KO cup Qtr. final 2nd leg Skybet 1.83 Swindon's new reserve with the glorious name of Mads Korneliussen, is scoring very well for the Robins, and was the teams highest scorer at Poole last night, along with our french reserve Seb. T. they can hopefully give the top 3 enough backing to beat Poole by the 11 or more to go through to the semi's. It will not be easy though. If Alden and Davidsson can come up with something, it could be a very good night for swindon. Poole are missing their on-form Polish rider Kryzsztof Kasprzak, who scored a fine maximum last night, and has been getting good scores everywhere he goes. Under the rules of speedway, unfortunately for Poole, only Matej Ferjan and Pooles reserves can take his rides, add to this the poor form, up to now, of Antonio Lindback, then Swindon do have a chance of going through. Toni Svab makes his debut at reserve tonight, and his form will be critical, the last British club he rode for was Belle Vue, his form was not good, and then he had a bad accident, I am not sure if he has ridden since then or not, but, at his best he is useful, so,we do not want to see any of that tonight! Poole are the defending KO cup holders though, and are sure to put up a fight, and if they go 9 or more behind, then they can go for double points. But, I do like the -6 about Swindon, and that is my bet for tonight.
BritPete
Re: Speedway Tonight I think that Skybet have made a mistake here, they do not usually cover KO matches, they have this labelled as an Elite league match! Hope the bet stands!
BritPete
Re: Speedway Tonight Skybet now go Swindon - 8! Much more difficult.
Mr Brightside
Re: Speedway Tonight Good luck Pete. Think I will give this one a miss after your comments about it being more difficult with the change in handicap.
BritPete
Re: Speedway Tonight Swindon could overcome it, but, they now need to win by 9 or 10, and the risk is obviously higher. Looks like they took a lot of money on -6!
BritPete
Re: Speedway Tonight Result: Swindon 60 Poole 36 Swindon hit by far their best form of the season, a weakened Poole team had little luck, with Ferjan retiring injured in his 3rd ride, Svab had a busy night, but scored only one point, and this was when Ferjan fell. Good display by the home team though, and they march on into the semi's!
Mr Brightside
Re: Speedway Tonight Good stuff again Pete, your bet at -6 was very easily landed. Skybet probably moved the handicap to -8 on the strength of your "wad".:lol You will be getting blacklisted by them if you continue on this sort of form.:clap
