Re: Scottish Football > September 12th & 13th Dumbarton v Hearts Hearts are on fire at the moment and have just signed Pallardo (mid 28 years) who has a lot of La Liga experience with Levante in Spain so they have boosted their squad. Hearts have basically got their 4 toughest fixtures out the way already with hard fought wins against closest rivals Rangers and Hibs. They then crushed Raith Rovers and Falkirk 4-0 and 4-1 respectively who in my opinion are the two best sides in the league outside the big 3. Calum Patterson is now back for Hearts and he is an excellent player who normally plays right back but can score goals up front. Huge bonus. Dumbarton are a part-time side who are punching above their weight having cemented themselves as a tier 2 side the last few seasons but have low crowds and the Hearts following will nearly be as many as the home side. I can see Hearts playing with more freedom having got their tougher matches out the way now. And Dumbarton have just 1 win so far (1-0 Livingston). I am confident of a good away victory here so I am tempted with a handicap bet. Even 8/15 on Hearts to win looks good value. Hearts (-2.5 AH) 4.50@BET365

If we can score 4 against Falkirk and Raith Rovers (Full-Time clubs) then we can score 4 against Dumbarton (Part-Time club). We have great depth to our squad at the moment and even the odd injury or suspension does not weaken us whatsoever. There is huge competition for places. In fact I honestly believe that this Hearts team would be at the top end of the Scottish Premiership right now.

I agree mate , tail end of last season yous played some good stuff and got results but pity it was too late , I think hearts will win this division they have added well to the good bunch of kids they have there , I can see hibs struggle down in that division for a few years if they don't start collecting points its a hard league to get out of. I'll take that bet too cheers.
