The next major tournament of the snooker season has arrived with the Shanghai Masters starting on Monday. The entire event is broadcast live on Eurosport in the UK albeit not at the easiest watching times. A decent field has made it to China so this should be a good tournament. Re: Shanghai Masters - 8-14 Sept Tournament preview: 1pt ew R.Walden to win Shanghai Masters 33/1 Betfred (1/2 1-2) Ricky Walden almost won the six red tournament last week, losing to Stephen Maguire in the final but that boost to his confidence will have done him no harm. He knows how to win this tournament having won it back in 2008. Walden has shown over the last 12-18 months that he can come through and reach the latter stages of the tournament and if there is an easier section of the draw this week he has found it. He has plenty of matches under his belt coming in here and looks overpriced to me at 33/1.
