Sandown 2:40 - European Wealth Solario Stakes(Group 3) (1) 7f 16yds The Godolphin horse, Future Empire, looks to be the main threat to my selection and he is best priced 5/2 with Bet365. This is a big step up in class for the Saeed Bin Suroor trained colt but the son of New Approach won nicely in a Class 4 Newmarket maiden on debut and is entitled to improve. The form of that race has worked out really well to, with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th all going on to win since. The Balding trained Elm Park is going at Salisbury tonight so will more than likely be pulled out of this race. My money is all over Aktabantay here who will be saddled by the ever impressive Ryan Moore. The yard is in good nick and Ryan is 4 winners from 13 rides for the yard. Re: Flat Racing > Saturday August 30th Sandown 3:15 - Thoroughbred Breeders' Association Atalanta Stakes(Group 3) (1) 1m 14yds The John Gosden trained Water Hole was a very expensive purchase and she has lived up to expectations so far by winning three of her four races to date. She won very impressively at Newmarket on heavy ground last time out, pulling away near the finish and although this is a step up in class, she has to be respected. Charlie Appleby's Zibelina is also worth a mention, she was a decent 3rd in a Listed race at Goodwood last time out and is another that has a place chance for powerful connections. My money is on Odeliz each-way here though, a horse that will appreciate the ground and she has been running consistently at this level for quite a while.
