Rebought when I had top pair/flush draw against turned set. Wasn't planning to but I was enjoying myself! Sat with the guy who finished runner up in this years Irish Open. Nice fella and he was telling me about his IO experiences. He basically played ABC, got cards when he needed them and was comfortable throughout. Just goes to show that in ANY tournament if you have a bit of wind behind you basically anyone half decent player can bink it. I guess that's what keeps me going. Of course the best tourney players don't necessarily need good cards and accumulate chips through aggression/well timed bluffs. Last night I flopped some monsters and got paid off. Defining losing hands was running KK into AA and then open shoving Ac10c into 8 8 and not getting any help. All in all just reaffirmed my belief that you've got to get out there from time to time and play some live stuff. I'm lucky that I have 3 casinos that are within 5-10 mins walk of my apartment and I can get a tourney/cash game any night of the week. Onwards and upwards! Getting nothing, been very creative but everyone limping and calling everything. Approaching 19bb 6th/6 from 9 with just 1 seat and very unlikely to be a 2nd seat or cash and still 40 mins of late reg left. Going to get very busy very shortly and to hell with it.
