Hamilton have started the campaign brilliantly by following up their opening day defeat with three wins in a row. Ross County are pointless and have just sacked their manager. Too many new players that are not gelling as a team. Home win a strong possibility. Also think Hearts should continue to be backed although at 4/6 at home to Falkirk there is not a great deal of value. One for the accumulator.

Initial thoughts: Motherwell v St Johnstone - Price on the home win seems more than fair to me. I know Well have had a poor start to the season, but they still have the majority of players from last term where they were finished 2nd in the league. I think they will click very soon, a reason for their slow start may have been their European exploits as a distraction? The price of 3.1 is worth a nibble, especially at home for me. Aberdeen v Patrick - Aberdeen, again have had a fairly slow start considering their decent form last term. Again, they have had a few European games to distract them. I heard their gaffer has said he will freshen things up today as he felt last week the side were very flat. This could work for the Dons as a few lads coming in will keep everyone on their toes and give the boys coming in a chance to show what they can do. Partick are not a great side in my opinion, so think they may struggle to come away with anything today. In saying that, the odds are slightly skinny for me so I think I may leave this one out. Other teams I am looking at are Hearts at home to Falkirk and Inverness at home to Kilmarnock. At the moment, I am tempted to go for Hearts but may well leave Inverness for another day. Will have a bit more time on my hands in the next month or so, will try come on an add my thoughts weekly when I can, be good to get this section flowing again.

Re: Scottish Football > August 30th & 31st Motherwell have been horrid so far , only win coming at home against st mirren on the first day and even then at mirren had 20 shots, 9 on target compared to motherwells 8 shots and 5 on target, st mirren also played with 10 men for 20 minutes. Since then they have lost 3 and not scored a goal in them league games. I think st Johnstone draw no bet is a good one here but IMO anyone can beat anyone in this league its hard to bet on I think.

Re: Scottish Football > August 30th & 31st Dundee v celtic Virgil van dyke is not in the squad for celtics trip to dens park , speculation growing that he wants to leave due to celtic missing out in the CL groups, new loan signing Mubarak wakaso starts on the bench. Commons starts up front alongside stokes , these two have a good partnership and should have started last week together but that's in the past. Denayer partners ambrose in defence and when ambrose starts the chance of celtic conceding increases massively IMO Dundee are unbeaten and sit on the same points as celtic having won one and drew three of their first 4 games. Kevin Thomson and willie dyer set to miss out for dundee but ex celt Paul McGowan starts and he can be a danger. I'm going for celtic -1 @ 6/5 boylesports , I think we will concede but I think we can score 3. Hartley has done well up there so far

Re: Scottish Football > August 30th & 31st HT dundee 1 celtic 0 Deserved lead for the home side and very poor yet again celtic, let's not forget there's only 2 players that's left since last season under Lennon so its down to the manager for me, players out of position again and the wrong tactics.
