Galway 4:55 - Guinness Galway Hurdle Handicap(Grade A) 2m JP McManus has four runners here and he is due a bit of luck after hitting the cross bar a few times this week already. On paper, Thomas Edison might look his strongest chance for the in-form Tony Martin yard who are having a tremendous week thus far. He won over 1m4f on the flat at the Curragh last time out and he looks sure to go well, especially if the money comes for him. The value is Plinth for me though, he is trained by a masterful trainer, comes here on the back of a solid run in a tough race at Royal Ascot and should be suited to the drop back in trip and switch to hurdles. I don't think he should be as big as 14/1 to land the spoils here personally.
