NRL Rnd 6

Recommended Posts

Not a great weekend with 3 form 6 and a 4.89 unit loss. This Week (home teams first NZ TAB odds lines from Sports Tab) Bulldogs v Sydney 1.65 2.15 (-2.5) Souths v Penrith 2.55 1.47 (-6.5) Nth Qld v Wests Tigers 1.42 2.70 (-7.5) Melbourne v Parramatta 1.20 4.20 (-12.5) Newcastle v Warriors 1.75 2.00 (-3.5) Manly v Canberra 1.60 2.25 (-4.5) St GI v Brisbane 2.00 1.75 (-1.5) Early looks... Like Sydney over Dogs, both teams in bad form, but Doggies missing bulk of starting forward pack. Prob better odds to be found somewhere else too. Also think Wests are again value. Melbourne back home should cover and Brisbane after good game last weekend -1.5 also looks good.

Re: NRL Rnd 6 Games and Bets for this week : Bulldogs Sydney (Telstra) - S B Williams, Mason, and Perry out for Dogs with Tonga and O'Meley back. Roosters get Crocker. Bulldogs 4 - 0 here against Roosters, who have lost 4 of last 5 at Telstra. Last time out 16 - 13 Bulldogs. Both teams in bad form with 3 losses in a row each, so both will really want this game. Probably a 50 - 50 call in my opinion, obviously stats favour the Dogs, but to me Sydney looks to have more depth and with the injures to the Doggy big men Ive got a feeling Sydney will be able to gain more momentum through the forwards. Maybe I should leave this one alone but $2.38 Bet 365 is too much 5/10 Sydney H/H. Penrith @ Souths - Both teams got big wins last round and will come into this with confidence and climb further up the ladder. Penrith will have to deal with huge losses in Kiwi back row duo of Galuvau and Puletua, and disruptions during the week with Gower and Galea battling a virus. Both should play. Souths get back MacDougal from suspension. Last meeting 30 - 6 in favour of Souths, with Penrith lossing its last 3 t Aussie stadium, and yet to win away this year. Souths definately an improved team and seem to step it up against Penrith recently. 5/10 +6.5 @ 1.85 Bet 365 (buying 1/2 pt) 2/10 ML @ 2.70 Sportstab WT @ NQ - Josh Hannay out through suspension, Norton still out, and Thurston to play although battling with knee injury. H/H 4 - 1 to NQ. Last match 24 - 12 NQ @ Cambletown. WT going for 4 in a row for first time in clubs History while NQ tries to avoid first conecutive losses since R18 last year. Recent results NQ 38 - 6 defeat to Sharks WT easy 24 - 6 victory over NZ in NZ. Favour WT to cover. Hannay will be a big loss to NQ, plus the halves combo of Marshal and Prince has been very effective this year. 4/10 +7.5 @ 1.80 Sportstab 2/10 ML @ 2.63 Stan James Parra @ Melbourne - To sum this up quickly Melbourne's attack will be far too much for Parramata to handle. Parra gave up 42 in 1 half last week, so cant see them staying close with Melbourne who will be out to avenge embarrasing loss last weekend. Para not a good away team, Melb best attack in the comp. 7/10 Melbourne -12 @ 1.91 Stan James
