dave
Not sure what is considered a long run of hands without a showdown, because I don't normally keep count, but on the $0.5/$1 table I'm playing on betfair we are currently up to 25 hands without a showdown. During this time I've been stealing pot after pot on the turn and river, as the whole table is terrified of people drawing. But given the tightness of the table, no-one is drawing. I've managed to double up from around $80 to $160 during this time, without very much. Just as I was about to click post we have had a showdown on hand 26. dave
Re: Tight tables - they're great! Just counted, and on a 10 player table I took 9 of the 25 pots (about 4 times what I should have) + won the 3 largest. And I don't remember having a good hand. GETT1NLOTS
Re: Tight tables - they're great! Well played Dave. :ok This is the kind of thread you should show a non poker player who says "It's all luck - no skill involved".
